Meet Our Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant
Our nurse practitioner and physician assistant are highly trained health care providers, who play a vital role in allowing us to give our patients comprehensive treatment. They work very closely with our specialist physicians to tailor the management of each patient's treatment to their individual needs.
Rivkah Horowitz, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant. She received undergraduate degree in Biology at Yeshiva University, Stern College and her master’s degree from Towson University. Her background includes generic research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine prior to becoming a Physician Assistant. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
Hyeon Joo Lee is a certified registered nurse practitioner. She also worked as a medical/surgical registered nurse for 15 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. She received her master's and PhD degree from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing. She has participated in multiple research projects on subjects including diabetes and heart disease during her PhD work. She is particularly interested in emphasizing lifestyle change associated with biopsychosocial factors on diabetes control to prevent diabetes complications.
Hyoen Joo Lee, CRNP
Heather Dalwadi, PA-C is a certified physician assistant. She received her master’s degree from the University of New England in 2008. Her background includes endocrinology, internal medicine and emergency medicine. She was an occupational therapist for several years before going back to become a PA. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
